What To Expect
Complimentary Meet & Greet
Meet with Dr. Sarah Louie, ND for a 15 minute free consultation to learn about how Naturopathic Medicine can benefit your health.
If you know already know you want to start Naturopathic Treatments right away, then you can choose to skip this step and book an Initial Assessment.
Initial Assessment
This hour long appointment is dedicated to understanding your entire health history. Dr. Louie will ask various questions about your health, do physical examinations, and recommend blood testing to help her determine what plan of action needs to be taken to optimize your health. All new patients must have an Initial Assessment before treatment can be provided. In person is preferred so that physical exams can be completed, however virtual appointments are available.
Treatment Plan
After your Initial Assessment, Dr. Louie will discuss treatment options with you. This may occur at the end of your Initial Assessment hour if time permits, however sometimes you may get your treatment plan at a separate appointment after blood tests have been completed. View the various naturopathic treatment options in the "Services" page.
Follow Ups
Follow ups can range from 15 to 60 mins depending on your treatment plan. 15 mins sessions are meant for brief check ins for monitoring progress of a treatment plan. 30 min sessions can be for longer discussions and recommendations. Acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha therapy sessions typically take 30 - 60 mins long. Dr. Louie will let you know the frequency and length of follow ups for your specific treatment plan.
